Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default It was a nice day for a drive..

I had a Christmas tree tag and figured I'd go fill it. But the drive was just too much fun. If you look carefully at the mountain behind me, the snow is unbroken. I left it that way. That peak is around 11,000 ft. I'm probably at 10,000.

Lots of blue spruce. I should have come up in the summer and tied a ribbon around one. It was hard to tell what their bases were like under the snow.

That's beautiful up there! I really like the setup on your Xterra too.

I wish I had taken more pictures. In the bottom picture, you can see tracks on the right side. Those were deer tracks.

There were a lot of elk tracks around, too.

My company drilled anchor holes for the towers in the background. They had to be able to withstand 200 mph winds. They have recorded 180mph winds up there. I had my big drill rig and air compressor up there for that job. The fire watch tower is made of rock.

I didn't get stuck anywhere. I didn't even slip and slide anywhere. I credit that to the tires - BFG KO2's. Plus, I aired them down to 18psi.

Last time I was up there in that same spot, in the snow, I had Big O Bigfoot AT's on and could not get all the way up there without spinning out. Didn't have the winch back then, but now I do, and didn't need it.

Coming back down, I took a road I had never traveled. After reviewing my dash cam footage last night, it seems to have not recorded the hairiest portion of the trail where I banged the skid plates a few times on boulders and slammed the rock sliders a couple times. Next time I won't be so lazy and will just hook up the Go Pro. Going up back up that newly found road will be a lot more challenging that going down it was, but I will wait until it dries out, or go up early enough that it might still be frozen.

Great scenery. Lucky the snow was not deep yet.
