Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Rant

I grew up using my Dad's Model 70 Winchester with a Weaver post and crosshair scope. Since I got some good news from the tax lady and I'll have some extra ching in my pocket I figured I'd look for a low powered scope with that reticle. Can't find one anywhere. Why in the hell did that setup ever go out of style? They were great for hunting up here in the North.

I bought one from CDNN about twelve years ago with that reticle. It’s high powered though and bulky.

Already searched the websites for Zeiss USA, Nikon, Burris, Bushnell, and Weaver. None have any listed. I'm still waiting to hear back from an e-mail I sent to Leupold.

My brother has the rifle now. The old Weaver was from the 50's I think and started fogging up on him so he changed it out. I don't know if he still has it.
I got an e-mail back from Leupold and they said to call their custom shop. I did and the young man there said that they aren't putting custom reticles in the model I'm looking at yet, but If I send one in made after 1993 they'll do a reticle change for $200. I'm considering it.
