Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Smile Why Is Pig Meat Called ‘Pork,' and Cow Meat Called 'Beef'?

When you stop and think about it, it’s actually quite strange that pig meat is called “pork,” cow meat is called “beef,” sheep meat is called “mutton,” and deer meat is called “venison.” What’s even stranger is that chicken meat is still called “chicken,” and fish is “fish.” So what gives?

So there it is.

Because the linked ammo in their plane was 9 yards long.

We have a winner. Now raise your right hand Stoned_Oli and swear to God you did not cheat on that one?
I just saw that one the other day on a documentary and always wondered where the hell the term came from.

Don't know about "cow meat" but cattle are butchered for their beef.
And why are they called cattle?

Why do trucks hauling fish always have "Fish" on the back of the truck, but trucks hauling other food don't identify what's inside.
I've seen lots of fish trucks but I've never seen one that said "hamburger".

Why Is Pig Meat Called ‘Pork,' and Cow Meat Called 'Beef'?

It's a French thing, part of the language of the mongrel English (Rule Britannia...and all that jazz) people.

Gee...I think I just called mysellf a cur.

Yep, so there it is. Interesting, to say the least! is called chicken, maybe because the French are lazy and it was too much effort to say "le cluquer"? Fish would be "yuque" in French and that just didn't sound right, I guess?
