Remington Arms Class Action Settlement
I don't think my 700 in 7mm Rem Mag is covered, as it is was made in 1976 - even though it did go off and kill my wife's uncle's truck when he went to unload it during an elk hunt.
I do have a 770 that looks like it is covered. I never have cared much for that rifle. It was cheap and is built that way, too. Quote:

I had a Rem 600 Mohawk made in 1973 in 6mm. It was fine when new. Two years later, after about 100 rounds of use, it would fire when the safety was pushed off. My dad sent it back to Rem and they put in a new trigger.
