Bumblebees are difficult to photograph. They are constantly moving.

Should have taken a movie. I shot one of bees feeding on palm tree flowers but I don't have a macro lens.

Great picts. Pogo.
Bees are big time down here in sunny Florida. Bee hives are rented out to orange groves for pollination. Without bees no O.J. in the mornings.

So I had to increase the shutter speed and open my lens up to the lowest f stop. And in doing so it cuts down the depth of field which means that all of the bee isn't in 100% focus. |

Amazing photos, John. You seem to have a knack for that close photography.
Fred, that is a good video and I can't help but saying, "busy as bees"! Brian

I bought an aluminum case for my GoPro Hero 5 Black that will allow me to mount 52mm lenses and filters. Haven't gotten a macro lens yet, just a polarizing lens that came with it, so far.
Hopefully, I can get some good video of my hummingbirds to post. Plus edit my footage from my Florida trip to share on here. Just been running non-stop with no time for my hobbies, lately.
