Guga? Was not sure when I first watched his food vids but the guy is good.
He covers all types of foods and gives an honest opinion if its good or not. Like in the posted vid. "It tastes like cat food"

I didn't watch the video. 34 minutes is a long time. I like Utube, I've watched these guys before, but often find that longer videos can be summarized in a few minutes or a short paragraph.
One trend I've noticed in my lifetime; the difference between the way I grill and the way my Dad grilled. Dad always used a gas grill and I opt for a wood fired charcoal grill. Dad preferred beef steaks medium rare where I usually go medium well. He grilled a lot more beef while I do more chicken and pork. As luck would have it, both my brothers grill exactly like Dad. I'm the outlier. Edit: I watched the video last night and overall it was pretty interesting. Many of the changes in cooking steaks over the years seemed to center around the various sauces. Most of the time, there wasn't really a way of cooking you could pin to a particular decade. This assumption was a bit of a stretch, but still worked well in the video. Surprisingly, they really liked the ground beef "steak". One version was almost raw and reviews were mixed on that one. They all disliked some famous steak chef's overpriced steak. It appeared to be some sort of long-standing feud between utube personalities. |
