Trump: Roger Stone was 'targeted by an illegal Witch Hunt'

President Donald Trump said Saturday that Roger Stone was entangled in "an illegal Witch Hunt,” offering his first comment since the White House announced Friday night that Trump commuted the prison sentence of his former campaign aide, sparing his longtime adviser from having to report to prison next week.

“Roger Stone was targeted by an illegal Witch Hunt that never should have taken place. It is the other side that are criminals, including Biden and Obama, who spied on my campaign - AND GOT CAUGHT!,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning.

Dems aren't going to have this. Stone would have likely died in prison. Now he will just have to settle for a freak exercise equipment failure accident or a suicidal gunshot to the back of the head.

Stone needs round the clock protection against 'accidents".
Then he needs to start doing interviews right now, unloading all the dicey details he was prevented from doing by the Obama judge gag order.

And if I were him I'd sit down with General Flynn's lawyer and see if he can help that case. It'd be great if they continue to ram thru a hearing to have Stone show up as a witness to shed some light on the subject.
