Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Century U-Fix-it Guns

I have only purchased one U-Fix-it gun from Century and it didn't need any fixing at all. It was an old Chinese milled SKS with threaded barrel. The upper handguard had a crack in it. Bore was perfect, bluing was well worn and furniture looked beat up. It shot great right out of the box! For $174 shipped, I was very happy with my purchase.

Question, What other U-Fix-it guns are a good buy on Century's website at the moment? I'm considering a Czech Mauser K-98 chambered in 7.62x51.

Please share your U-Fix-it stories here (good or bad).

I thought every Century gun was a "you fix it" gun.

I have a Century "U-Fix-It" FAL.

All I got for my money was the upper receiver.

But it runs great, now!

You can almost bet on that.

If it has a wooden stock it has cracks and Century disclaims that in all of their ads.

Only problem I ever had was with an 1895 Steyr. Case sticks in the chamber. I think polishing chamber would probably do the trick but I haven't had time to do it.

My M76 had the magazine sit to low. After some grinding and extending the latch I got it to work.

It shoots great now. 8mm AK, pure joy!! It'll put Greek surplus in one hole @ 100 yards and about just under 2 moa for most else.

Yes, I paid to much for it.

Picked up a 24/47 Yugo 8mm mauser for $49.00. Was a hell of a shooter, good buy, 1 screw missing on band around handguard , and had an extra screw already ! Sweet little rifle !!

The only problem with Century Ufixem's now are the price. Not that many years ago and of course, pre 0bama days, you could get Ufixems for as low as $19 each in some cases. I used to buy 5 packs of Carcano's and Mosin's for under $100. Most only needed minor repairs.

I picked up several wire wrapped Enfield Mk111's for around $30 each. Not a single one required repair work, the only thing I could find missing was the stacking swivel and that's a part missing on almost EVERY Enfield. All were 100% matching numbers with mint bores. I kick myself in the ass for not buying a crate of them.... that and more AKM kits at $79 each.

All water under the bridge since the King Niqqer 0bama came to the thrown.

I bought a few of them. Stay away from the PI markings. I got a couple of SKS's from them years ago that were GI (Good incomplete) both had dark bores, one had a broken safety lever, both missing the cleaning rod and bayonets. Bought one of the PI (Poor Incomplete) to use for parts and it was a waste of time. Looked like someone bled out over it. Parts were so pitted there was little of value on it. A couple of the Vz24/47 rifle that were only missing the cleaning rods. I did get two with bad bores that I am having reberreld to 308win. Some have come in without bolts (I never got one that way but I have read it on a couple of boards) so its a gamble.
