I have been casting since I was 12 .38, .45, 30-06, .32 rifle and pistol, several sizes round ball, conical and Minnie ball for black powder as well as shotgun slugs. love doing it. I have used many brands and found Lee to be good for the money.

It gets in your blood, don't it Dawg? And truth be known, for MANY rifle cartridges and almost all pistol cartridges there is really no point in paying the silly prices for jacketed bullets. Cast will do anything most of them will do and often better. Everything I've killed in my life...some of it went down to cast bullets. For sure I never felt handicapped!
I loved going to bed at night with a big pile of "silver bullets" in my shop waiting for me to lube-size them the next day. And I couldn't help laughing each time I thought what they cost me. |
