Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Went up into the Jemez Mountains and camped, yesterday

Wife and I loaded up our camping gear and took off to the Jemez (pronounced Hay-mez) mountains yesterday. We drove around, 4-wheeling for a bit, then found an isolated spot on a road I had to move some downed trees off of to travel up. Then we set up camp for the night and came back down this afternoon.

Stopped at a fish hatchery to air my tires back up (lower air pressure makes for such a nicer ride off road) and then headed on home.

This is the first time in years that I have not had rain, snow, or hail after I set up camp. It was kind of nice.

The dogs chased squirrels and we found a lot of elk sign, but didn't see any elk, except for a small herd of slow elk walked by the camp as it was getting dark. There were some elk beds and antler scrapes on the other side of the knoll we were camped next to.

Found some bear scat, but it was probably a couple weeks old.

Sounds like fun. I enjoyed camping at high elevations this year.
