There are no MAJOR differences in AR15's IMHO. There are only a couple of mfgrs who make ALL of the parts ALL of these AR15 mfrs use to build their rifles.

AR rifles
I have to agree with dow on this, having owned 3 and handled several different AR rifles I believe they are all very close to the same. I was talking to Tromix[ class 3 FFL, I believe] a couple of months ago about this same thing, His words were "they're all the same." I have a DPMS now and i have run over 500 rounds through it without cleaning it and runs very good. 200rds wolf steel case, 200 rds Izzy surplus brass, over 100rds Lc newer brass. No probs.
