Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

I do concrete qc. Must be on pours anytime from 1:30am and later. I don't know about the rest of y'all but I just can't get to sleep at 6pm. I've gone 3 days with insomnia.
Got an Ambien script now and though I try not to take them 2 nights in a row, they're great to have to take on a Sunday night to get back on track

How well do you sleep?

Like a log...but for only about 5-1/2 to 6 hours.

I went to law school with a guy who slept one hour per night. He was half insane. Now he is general counsel for a major corporation.

Stop by your friendly VA and talk to them about sleep problems. Ten years ago they prescribed Trazodone. Sleep like a baby now.

After I moved into a home with AC...and I am not sweating and sticking to the sheets in the Summer...I sleep like burned out light bulb. But I hear anything besides nothing and I am awake...

I had to bar my cats from the bedroom again... They get all frisky at 3:00am and start chasing each other around the room and running across the bed...or standing on me...or trying to sleep on my head...and it fucks with my snooze. After a couple weeks I will let them back in...we do THIS couple times a year. After being banned for a week or two they settle down at night and all is good for awhile. Both of them alert to shit happening outside or space aliens landing in backyard looking for someone to probe. Space aliens get kinda pussed out when you start blasting them with 00 Buckshot.

Last night was the first night in a long time I had a good night's sleep and I normally only get about 6 hours.

We are under a lot of stress lately with my mother in law losing her mind, she may call at any time during the night, she has no sense of timing anymore, it's getting to the point we don't answer the phones at night, then she will drive the two blocks and ring the door bell not once, not twice but constantly, and puts on a show . About a year ago I sent her to the hospital for a few days I think we need to do it again. There is nothing wrong, just needs attention, fuck that crap, we need to rest.

If I keep having dreams like I did last night, I won't be sleeping well.

Benadryl will knock an elephant out and get rid of mild reactions. I don’t use it because I don’t want to be that deep for that long.

My fucking cat has gotten into dresser diving. She jumps from the dresser right onto my stomach. Fucked up sensation in REM sleep. She lands on the balls and she’ll be talking to Bast.

Turn off your phones at night. And switch off the circuit breaker for the door bell.

I have unplugged the phone line from my modem at times and disconnected the wireless door bell, yes. The woman is suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia, according to a couple of doctors, not fully yet, but starting to. Some day she'll get lost driving the two blocks and we'll have to make some sort of arrangements. My mother voluntarily gave up driving when she felt the time was right, she's still there at almost 88 but making my life a bit more complicated. Such is life in the big city.

edit: My brother in law lives across the street from me, he's got the same problem and his wife can't take it anymore either.

I knew some people that had a family member

that had Alzheimer's, when I was a kid...

They just locked them in the smokehouse

at night...

Life was simpler back then...
