30.30 handload ??
Gentlemen, what powder should I use to get the most out of a 30.30 with a 16" barrel. The only powder I keep on hand is 2223.

By "get the most," do you mean velocity?
If so, the powder that gives the highest velocity with a particular bullet does so in ANY barrel length. For jacketed bullets, in my T/C Contender or Win M94, BL-C(2) does very well and will give top velocity or very close to it and top accuracy or very close to it. |

I use IMR 4895, have for years, and I'm satisfied with it.
