Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Dang you, Ruger! I was perfectly happy...

Then they sent me the e-mail with their new offering:

http://www.ruger.com/products/sp101/...eets/5773.html

The only thing I don't like about it is that dang fiber optic front sight. If that can't be replaced, then I don't want it.

The .327 Federal Magnum is a cartridge introduced by Sturm, Ruger and Federal Cartridge, intended to provide the power of a .357 Magnum in six shot, compact revolvers, whose cylinders would otherwise only hold 5 rounds. The .327 Federal Magnum is actually a super magnum having replaced the .32 H&R Magnum as the pinnacle of the cartridge diameter.

In the April 2008 issue of the NRA's American Rifleman magazine, Field Editor Bryce Towsley summed up his review of the cartridge as follows:

The .327 offers more 'real-world' energy than the .357 Mag., (at least in my test), better penetration and one more shot per gun load. It does all this with substantially less recoil and noticeably less muzzle blast than the .357 Mag.

I got to mess around with a pistol in .327 Mag once. A guy had bought one for his wife, and liked it so much he bought one for himself, too. He let me have all the brass he used, as he didn't reload and didn't want to see it go to waste.

I told him I didn't have a .327, but after shooting his, he told me that I would.

I had a Ruger SP-101 and gave it too a Nam Bro who needed a pistol. Maybe in the right hands good accuracy but I considered it a kind of up close weapon.
Good quality made weapon but I agree, see no need for that front site.

I hate those fiber optic sights too. My older 101 357 Mag I've had for about 20years has standard sights and there just right. Those fiber optic ones Suck IMHO.

Mine with a 6" barrel shoots great 4th and everyone else I know that has one shoots well with them too. Were you having the twitch's when you were shooting it or what???

Maybe a bit of group tightener would help,,,I prescribe 3 fingers of Jack ,,,that should tighten up those groups some mister !!!

I must admit mine did take a bit of breaking in before I got really good accuracy out of it, but once I did and found the load the gun really liked,,wow, it's a keeper.

The 357fed mag is a new one on me too,I hadn't happened to see that caliber before either. Ya learn something new every day!

If I could get the speed six back from my ex. The best double action trigger I ever did outside of a 642 smith.sometimes everything just seems to come together just right.

I wish I could get the Colt Cobra .38 Special my ex got for the same reason. Plus, me and that pistol had some history together.
