Coon killed my five of my chickens in the early evening before I got home to close the coop including my 7 year old Australorp that still laid two eggs a week. The only one that survived is my retard hen that has huge spurs, crows like a rooster, has crooked feet, and lays eggs with no shell.
Wife went by the Co-Op and they had no selection and they said they can't get their usual selection due to China virus. I will not order them anymore due to really bad luck with my last batch including the damn post office losing them and it took an entire day to locate the chicks--I am lucky they didn't die. I have given up on chickens for now. I get too attached to my animals to butcher them. |
