Heh! I guess this wouldn't be considered very diplomatic, but to hell with diplomacy. Trump calls out the stupidity of Germany buying all its energy from Russia, then expecting the USA to defend them from Russia.

So did the POTUS drink his orange juice or was he not served it? That was a slam dunk on Germany. There are times that ya just have to say what you have to say, and furthermore that is how conversations need to go straight brass tacks it is what it is. Well done Sir.

It makes no sense. Either Russia is a military threat to be contained, or they are a trusted major trading partner supplying Germany's energy. They can't be both.

Which pretty much negates the whole reason for NATO, which should have been disbanded when the Warsaw Pact broke up.

NATO should still be disbanded in favor of bilateral treaties with individual countries. I don't trust some of those smaller countries not to start trouble and then expect our sons and daughters to die on their soil for nothing.

The Russians like to gerrymander significant Russian minorities into neighboring republics to have standing pretext for intervention hence Ukraine being stretched to the east and Kazakhstan being stretched to the north.
