Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Thumbs down Firefox update

a few days ago is causing this computer to freeze and go into infinity mode until I close it. Did the same thing with the last update.

When I restart it I get the "embarrassed message".

Sucks until they work the bugs out.

That happens to me a couple times a day. Especially if I leave it open and go out to the shop. I forget about the 'puter and when I come back I have to restart it most always.

I don't have to reboot the computer, just Firefox.

I get the message that: "Firefox has encountered and problem and will have to shut down."
And it does, then I have these little message windows that have to be closed.
It's irritating.

I haven't noticed any problem with the update. Hope it stays that way.

Thanks. I am not having the problem today.

I updated some plug-ins, updated some drivers and had System Mechanic do some maintenance. Life is good again.

Haven't noticed a problem with FF41 on this Linux machine, but did notice a hanging problem on the Win7 machine. I'll go through and see if it's an add-on problem.

Opening a new tab in gunbroker has caused some issues recently...

FF is doing it again. Not responding.

I saw in a post today where Dinky posted that FF was freezing up on him.

Using Firefox 41.0 on the wife's laptop while on the road and no issues at all. Try turning off all of your addons and see if the issue quits. If that fixes the problem then turn each one back on until it breaks, then you will know what caused the issue.

IMHO I would dump Firefox and install Google Chrome. I did that 3-4 years ago and have had zero issues since.

Firefox is using 814 meg of ram and 30 to 50% of my cpu. This latest update really bogs down basic systems.
