At one time there were many who believed in the 'rope deterrent' for snakes.
One clarification was that it had to be a hair rope or a rawhide riata. Those who swore by it did so because they never saw a snake cross the rope. |

Looking at the snake skeleton I thought I was seeing bugs crawling on it for a second.
The I realized it was my curser. Well, seems that the buzzard left the rattles behind, did you take 'em home? |

A lot of people want the rattles
to put in their fiddles, it improves the sound... I have put a bunch in mine, now if only I could play the damn thing... |

Having a problem with a "good" snake!
Seems a King Snake has taken up residence in a hole next to my garbage can. Almost stepped on in twice taking out a trash bag at night. I know they will kill and eat other snakes, but Still if I step on it - Neither me nor him will be happy!!!
