Had my SSD hearing today

Hearing was @ 11:30. Talked to the lawyer for a few minutes @ 11:00. He was call back to the judges chamber came out smiling & said we were done. The judge approved my disability without even seeing me. The lawyer said it was the first time for him to see it happen. My laywer said I had good evidence in the form of medical imaging to support my claim. My age & work history helped.

4-8 weeks & I'll be collecting my check. The lawyer gets paid from my backpay check. Next I'll be signing up for medicare & figuring out a part B provider. I originally filed Sept 19 2018.

Good for you boon if anyone earned it you did.

Hell 1/2 your posts were "off got to run time for work." Study the law your allowed to work and make X amount of $$ without affecting your SS.
Also check into the 'trial work period for SS recipients.' This if your bored and want to supplement your income?

Once the checks start I'm going to work on moving out of Houston if I can get a decent amount for my house. As far as actual work I have not cut my yard since July. I doubt I could get out there & do it even in the cooler weather. My back has been bothering me big time lately.
