Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Herters - Bass Pro/Cabela's "cheap" .22 bulk pack

What can I say? It works every time in the Ruger SR22. It was the only bulk .22LR I could find just as the WuFlu was hitting and I knew there would be a run on ammo. So, I got a couple bricks of it. Finally tried it out the other day - 150 rounds in the little pistol. If it was going to hiccup, it would have done it in the little pistol.

Actually, if it is going to hiccup, it will be in the Browning Buckmark - that sucker is picky. So, I reckon I'll have to update this post when I get around to testing it in that.

It shoots similarly to the CCI Blazer bulk stuff, except the Herter's is a plated hollow point vs. the CCI which is a lead solid. But they are both pretty zippy.

It was minute of 1 lb freon can accurate. (I really gain little satisfaction shooting at paper.)

The Herter's is a little dirtier, but not Aguila dirty. Aguila smells like piss when you shoot it, and Herters doesn't.

Rumor Central says Herters is made by Winchester. Don't know the validity of that, though.

Sanders smart move grabbing that .22. Price just about doubled for .22 right after the flu hit.

Most all are pushing the .9 and .10 cent a round. Here we go again have to shop hard to find a good price.

Got another case of 30-30 from the BBT, yesterday. Combined with what I already had, that will pretty much set me up for life with that caliber.

The Hornady Lock-N-Load progressive press says I have enough ammo for a little while. Remember when you and I were telling folks to buy it cheap and stack it deep? I'm not just an advocate for that, but am also a member.
