Yesterday, a coworker and I went out to an area Fun Shop. He recently acquired a Winchester Model 1894 in .30-30. He didn't see any ammo on the shelves and asked if they had any.
Here's what I heard the owner of the Fun Shop tell him, "Ammo manufacturers are producing ammo 24/7 but, they making self defense/FMJ rounds for handguns and ammo for 'modern sporting rifles' at this time. 'Hunting ammo' is NOT a priority at this time". I know that .30-30 ammo is available online but, it's going for $3-$4 per round......IF you can find it. |
