~ U Gots 2 Kill In Style ~
The FG-42 sells for top $$$$$$$$$$$$$ these days; however, if they ever dig up 'that' bunker on Crete next to the old WW 2 airfield there will be a lot more available...at those still high prices.

A hobbyist gun builder from the Ocala area that I knew many years ago, had one of these rifles in the 2nd pattern that was in the NFA registry. He had a large collection of mostly German weapons from the WWII era.
He would go to Knob Creek with our group & had lots of friends in the business over the years that were @ the creek as vendors. His knowledge base of weapons was amazing, but he was German from the old country during WWII as a young child. He passed a few years ago & his collection went to a friend he thought he trusted in Ohio. That is another story for another day! |
