Buck Warranty
I found an old pocketknife in my stuff not too long ago. It was a Buck 301 Stockman that had two broken blades and beat-to-hell stocks. It looked like it had been through a wood chipper or something. I don't know where it came from. I probably found it out in the desert or on a job site, somewhere.
Anyway, just for shits and grins, I figured I'd send it to Buck and see if they'd do any warranty work to it. First, I called them up to make sure they weren't shut down because of the Kung Flu. The nice lady on the phone assured me they were open for business, and warranty work. So, I printed out the warranty claim form from their web site and filled out and sent in the knife. This morning, I got the following e-mail: Quote:
We did the deal over the phone and I now have a new pocket knife headed my way: https://www.buckknives.com/product/3...ife/0301FAM01/

I carried a Buck 110 thru Junior & High school. Eventually I switched to Gerbers when someone showed how the Gerber could shave the edge off the Buck.

If you want a 3-blade Stockman style knife, you might find a Buck 303 Cadet a little more easy to carry. It is just the smaller version of the one I linked to. I've been carrying on I got on ebay with the Champion spark plugs logo etched into the blade. Then one day, I'll decide to carry a different one - like my old Case, or a Bear and Sons, or an Old Timer, or a Kabar. I have many to choose from. |

Buck is good people. I had a similar experience with Gerber. I sent them a broken multi tool and they sent me a brand new one - better model as well.

A friend of mine left his mini Maglite in a spotting press. Mashed it to about 1/8-3/16 thick. He sent it to Maglite and they sent him a new one.
