Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Itís a long way to Tipperary

There’s a Blue Puttee version for Newfoundlanders but the versions I’ve found have an obnoxious fife in them.

This is obviously the inspiration for Fat Martin’s The Bear and the Maiden Fair.

What do these songs have to do with each other? Not much but the Centennial of WWI passed here last year without mention and we are discussing music imported by Scots and Irish in another thread in another forum. That’s what passes for an excuse to me.

Here's a Newfie song for ya.

More Scottish than Newfie, but I first heard it in S. Johns.

Cool

I've actually been to Tipperary, Ireland. There's a welcoming sign that says (seriously), "You've Come A Long Way To Tipperary".

Thanks - some of those clips bring back memories.

A lot of Liverpool stuff there...I'm from the other end of the country.

Thereís British Pathť I think itís newsreels from before television. Sorry about the fixation on that Irish colony. The channel description says BFI is situated on the south bank of the Thames in London unless I misread it.
