The wind has been blowing for two days now. It's a dang COLD wind too.
I missed my opportunity window for mulching the leaves.j
The yard is empty and the trees are now bare.
Mother Nature has deprived me once again.

Some snow and sleet here also...ground is still to warm for anything to accumulate. Fuck it...I had 2 cords of seasoned hardwood delivered Thursday. I am about ready for winter. Winter is shit...when you are retired, have plenty of eats, a generator, a good 4x4 and a big woodpile to create a "nice warm safe spot." I won't build a fire until it gets a bit colder and stays there.

Why yes Fred I think I will head over to Daytona beach today and take a swim myself have not been their in awhile. Temp went down to 57 degs. here the other night and the Governor damn near called a state of emergency.

still warm but the wind is crazy right now, most of the old trees back in the woods are being brought down.

down to 24* tonight with 4-6" of snow, big whoop- made it to the third week of november this year.

Same here. I can stand temperature change, and even enjoy it for a while. I like snow while it's nice and white.

But I hate wind year round.

I drove by RTOs house and he had plastic on the windows and looked like the wood stove was going.
