Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Looks like the prices are going up again. Just what I needed to hear to push me off the fence and order another Springfield Garand.....and a 1903 before the new prices go into effect.

As an added comment. The folks at the CMP are pretty excited about this potential HUGE batch of M1 carbines, garands and perhaps other US arms expected to come from Korea. I wonder if this price hike has anything to do with that?

I think only those listed above have the price change. The Garands less wood are currently priced at $295. Is that the same price as before? The CMP web site already reflects the updated prices even though they don't take affect until the 13th.

Around $55 and up for a mil spec walnut stock set from Boyds. Added about $40 for the metal hardware from sportsmansguide. More or less depending on where you buy and what deals you can swing.

For about $400 or so you can put together a real nice looking shooter grade Garand.

Rumor has it that M-14A1's may be offerd at some point as well. For those not familiar with it, the M-14A1 is the official USGI designation for an M-14 rifle, modified to be semi only. These weapons have been offered to law enforcement departments for a few years, but most PD's/SO's are more interested in AR-15/M-16 series weapons, so many of the M-14A1's are being stored, and MAY, I repeat MAY be offered through CMP. I wouldn't hold my breath, but it may happen.

I shudder to think what the M-14A1's might go for, but it would be great to see some out there. I'm really hoping we get that flood of Korean Garands and M1's as well.
