Laser jet printer - Brothers

What you think of Brothers printers Guy at staples says they are excelent $99 at staples $120 at amazon and best buy I just need black no color for work / business documents My old HP wont work right with my lap top windows 10. Issues with USB, Drivers , who knows. Been wasting to much time trying to get it to print. I get a errror message when it is printing and Trouble shoot says Print wont work with USB 3.0 port. My pc has both 2.0 an 3.0 usb ports , wont work with either

I have a brother and for printing standard black and white it is better than my HP. But I buy cheapass printers, so maybe the higher end HPs are good.

HP's are good you can replace feed tires/rollers,fixing units and some other parts yourself.

I found out the drum on a laser jet is supposed to need to be changed like the toner cart and the drum cost as much as or more than the whole printer
But on the specs it says the drum will last 12,000 pages . That is more than I think I would print in 10 years Toner cart good for 1200 pages or large cart 3000 pages I think it is ??? . |

I have a Xerox color laser printer. I've had it for a few years it's been great.

I had a HP B&W laser for a long time. It lasted about 7 years and finally the motor died. It was a good printer.
It was time to upgrade to a color laser so I bought the Xerox color laser printer. I've had the Zerox laser for about 5 years. It runs like a Swiss watch. Beautiful pictures can be printed with it. |
