Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Litchi Tomato

I found an unusual weed amongst my Cleomi flowers. I believe that it is a Litchi Tomato. Only thing the flowers are yellow, not white. It is definitely a member of the Nightshade family.

I'm going to let it grow and see what develops. I believe it will have a fruit about the size of a Cherry Tomato.

See if it doesn't produce a small green tomato looking "fruit". They never get red and they last the winter. The critters don't eat them, so they must be toxic? I know those are some sort of nightshade, too.

Used to be a lot of Nightshade around here. I recognized it for what it was and got rid of every plant that came up. The seeds must last a long time, the area that had the most germinate hadn't been planted to anything for years, before I got this place.

I had a bunch of volunteer tomato plants come up this year. I pulled quite a few before I realized they weren't weeds. (I planted carrots and beets where the tomatoes were last year)

Anyway, they are blooming. I'll see what I got in a few weeks. They will either be cherry tomatoes, yellow pear-shaped tomatoes, or beef-steak type tomatoes.

I had a plant just like that come up in my back yard several years ago when I lived in Texas. I never knew what it was until now. Mine had yellow flowers, too. It made a fair number of blossoms, but never set any fruit.

That's extremely cool. Never seen or heard of them. Gives me something to Google tonite.

I didn't do a regular fullsize garden this year but decided to let a volunteer tomato take over a small landscape bed. Figured it would be a yellow pear or mud offspring from a hybrid but lucked out with an heirloom, Green Zebra. On the down side the fruits are small and usually not prolific produers. Awesome presentation and truly "fruity" flavor outweigh any negativity. Kids love 'em on shock value and sweetness.

Thanks for sharing the interesting plant!
