Also, why the use of "the Pentagon was not unmindful of the situation" when it is much easier to say "the Pentagon knew about the situation.

The last war we won was WWII. After that, the politician's are giving away all the gains that our servicemen & women died for. Korea, Vietnam, Iraq & now Afganistan.

We never learn that just voting them out won't solve the problem........

After Korea, Vietnam, and seeing the Russians get their asses kicked in Afghanistan, the U.S. NEVER should've 'went there'.

Our shithead politicians need to learn, IF you're gonna send troops into harms way, give them ONE objective, and let our Military run the show!

Afghan tribes have been fighting each other for a thousand years and they will be killing each other for the next thousand. Any country including us thinks their going in to stop that? Think again.
Only commodity the Afghans have to sell is opium and as soon as were out of their it will be back to work as usual.

My oldest son spent some time at Bagram AFB, said the base was all right but the shitholeit was in didn't warrant the attention it got from US...Special Forces had some fun, the outing was 2 their liking but the women were mostly clit cut uglies and he, my son, married a fellow soldier and they were actually over there together; he on Paladins and she was an 'All Wheels Mechanic.
