Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default The Hudson H9 Pistol: Half 1911, Half Glock… the Future of Handguns is Here!

Talk about the answer to the question nobody asked...

Quote:
Hudson Mfg. is gearing up to announce their first new product, the American-made Hudson H9. One look says a lot: this handgun does things differently.

The H9 has seven patents to its name, all towards one goal. Hudson wanted to create a striker-fired service pistol with modern features, built around a 1911-style single-action trigger. The result is a modern double-stack service pistol chambered for 9mm Luger with the time-tested ergonomics of a 1911.

There’s a lot of interesting things going on with the H9. It has a very low bore axis and full beavertail grip. That indicates that the H9 will have less felt recoil when shooting rapid strings of fire. That should be easy with a 1911-style trigger set at 4.5 to 5 pounds.

Holy Krap-o-la. Half glock, half 1911, and ..A.L.L...U.G.L.Y..
With my 9mm Combat Commander, I can put the magazine in a pie plate at 21' in 1.5 secs. With my 4" Model 29. I can do 6 bowling pins in 5 secs.
No comps or trigger work. No bull crap. Solid firearm designs that are well over a century old.
You gotta wanna. You gotta practice. No new-fangled abortion wonder-guns.
Don't need ugly and don't need plastic.
And if you're worried about 'felt recoil', either get a .22 or don't shoot.

Kind of looks interesting. I'll wait for the price to drop and maybe pick one up.

"Ugly as a Highpoint, at ten times the price".

Dang, that thing is even uglier than a Glock. Time will tell if it catches on. I have my doubts.

It wouldn't look bad if not for the bulky front end and the rail crap. I don't care for the look of any pistol with a railed front.

Yea, I wouldn't be so bad looking if I just had a nicer face.
