Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

But that fire was a small one. Here I was getting ready to make a bigger one.
After looking at that pic of the building some more I think it looks more like a place used by the Boy Scouts................what do you think?

It could be, don't know though. There are empty shotgun shells and rifle cartridges laying all over the place.

Lots of whiskey bottles in a trash pile near the building.

The inscription on the stone says "In memory of Everett and Otto Palmer - with us in spirit"

The inscription on the totem is "EMOZ". And if I remember correctly, a couple of years ago I saw a sign with an arrow pointing to EMOZ hunting club. And I assumed this was the place.

There is a home made shower house there that doesn't look as effective as the portable one I take with me that I made.

That area should be loaded with bear and deer.

Maybe they let the Boy Scouts use it and they added some to the building. I don't know though.

It is way off the road where you couldn't ride a regular pickup or SUV. You about would have to use a ATV, swamp buggy, built up Jeep, or walk a heck of a long way.

OK, I didn't know about the shotgun shells and empty booze bottles so you are probably right.

I'm sure the snow covers his feathers.

I washed up my ATVs. Gotta change the oil in the engine and all the differentials in them now.

That green one is 13 years old. It's been up in the UP many times. You can't beat those old Hondas. That one has never been over on it's side or upside down, or hit a tree or any other solid objects.

I'm about to buy me a new Honda Rincon. It sits a little taller, has more ground clearance for crawling over logs and rocks, and has a locking front axle. I'll probably keep the old green one for my grandson to go riding with me.

Looks Like heaven to me, I know you had to have had a great time. Why did you come back??? That brings lots of memories, and stirs my desire to call up my camping/fishing buddies and plan a trip. The only bad thing is the ex wife made sure I didnt get any of my camping gear, and she doesnt like to camp???... go figure

My thoughts exactly 10 Bears!

Then I realized what the truth must be ...

C'mon Pogo ... Fess Up!

I spotted that fire right off in the first set, second fire pic proves it!

You were up there poaching Moose weren't you?

That's okay, you can tell us, we won't rat you out

Great pictures sounds like you had a great time!

Can't look at a pic of the Superior shore without feeling that cold wind that lives there 24/7/365. Doesn't matter if it's high summer, there's a bite, just gets worse as you get into winter. Started shivering the minute I saw that first one and it's cooled off to around 80 here right now.

Welcome Back!
Regards,

Yep it's a Husky. I figure a Husqvarna or a Stihl is about as good as it gets.

Saws have really improved in the last couple of decades since I had my old McCullouch.

Didn't know you could get them over there. Husqvarna, Jonsered and Stihl are the most common over here, and all top notch chainsaws.

Used to have a great Jonsered , friend had it on his flatbed pickup and it departed, on a corner, went into the river.
He bought me a bigger Mac, with longer blade and more "power" but I still miss the Jonsered!
