We have some folks in the "Electronic Industry" or "Computer Technology" that still have some discretionary income.
The boy mostly "Trains" horses. One that I thought was kinda funny. The gal had the horse for a couple of years (Papered Arab) and when ever she tried to get it into a lope it would start bucking. The boy just about rode that critter into the ground. When she came back and rode it, she was allmost in tears, BECAUSE, she finally was able to ride it like she wanted, without it bucking. Some things are easy to correct. Other things need a hammer. In the fore head! JMHO! |

Living on Long Island does not really play itself out well for outdoor activities . But when I can I like to go fishing , camping , hiking , and play outdoors with the dogs . Being single for as long as I have been makes you less reliant on social activities that I took for granted .
Went skiing this March in Lake Tahoe , Commiefornia and promised myself I would be in better shape physically/finacially for next years trip . I plan to ski the East Coast mountains to train myself for the 9-10,000 ft mountains I skiied in Tahoe (10,000' being from sea level). |

Here's how I spent my weekend in Durango, Colorado with my daughters -- the lady to my left is the mother of the little boy and the little girl. My girls are behind me and her. It was an easy rafting trip, but our first time rafting on the river. Now my girls want to kayak and they want something a little more extreme than class 2 rapids.

There are quite a number of "White Water" streams and rivers here in Idaho.
I'm not familiar with the "Terms of Difficulty" or "Danger" designations. But, I have watched those kayakers totally dissappear, roll over and come up paddling. Amazing! My idea of "Fast Moving Water" is comming out of a Shower Head! We even removed the bath tub, so the shower could be bigger. That business of "Total Immersion" to "Tempt the Fickle Finger of Fate" is for someone else. |
