I would love to bid on this Revolutionary assault rifle also. Just watched the series "Turn" on Netflix about Americas first spies. Did not know that the Brits "Ricks relatives" made the colonists turn in all their guns?
Just funning with yah Rick not your fault lad. "Antique French Charleville 1763 Musket Used by Patriots during American Revolution" "Here we present an antique Charleville Model 1763 Flintlock Musket, made in France circa 1763. In the United States, the Charleville is perhaps most famous for its use against the British colonists during the French and Indian War—part of the Seven Years War—and then in the colonists hands against Britain during the American Revolutionary War." http://www.gunsinternational.com/gun...n_id=100874179 |

If the Feds raid the place they won't have much of a problem. Hell I don't even know how to load the damn things.
"You guys hold on I am reading the instructions on loading this damn thing." |

Hello Thomas, you are not winning this item.
"Auction Status Current Bid: $1,725.00 My Maximum Bid: $995.00" So Gunbroker says I am not winning this item? Well we will see about that. I don't give a damn if I am bidding against Pres. Trump I am winning this auction. Well maybe I might have to break out the change jar and stop feeding the cats. |

Kinda on a side note...
Just outside of St Louis, at Grant's Farm, a tourist location that Budweiser owns, they keep their Clydesdales there, and run a small zoo...The fence around the place is made from Civil War musket and rifle barrels... |

I went there a few years ago. I did not know that. I'm ashamed to admit that Grant is a 6th cousin on my Yankee (Kansas) grandmother's side.

O.K. so the siege of Boston and the Brits were in the harbor on their Naval ships. Washington called up the Kintuk sharpshooters to help. With their rifled Kintuk guns they sat on a hill overlooking the British Navy and started picking them off long distance. American Gens. told them to STOP that was not fair. They packed up and left. |
