Bought a pistol yesterday and got a conditional.
Bought a little Kimber 9 mm over in Daytona and even with my UPIN and CCW got a damn conditional.
http://www.kimberamerica.com/micro-9?___SID=U Salesman said 75% of the buyers even with the UPIN are getting conditionals. Wonder what the hell is going on if it is the HNIC busting chops putting pressure on in his final days or something?

I got delayed back in July when I went to buy two Anderson stripped lower receivers. I went back on day 4 to get my Anderson's. The manager and I got into a pissing contest
and he said he would not release the receivers until they got a go a head from NICS. On day 10 I returned and asked if my background check cleared. The receivers were then released and sold to me. I found this. Quote: The background check is not over yet. This means that something in your background *might* disqualify you from purchase, but they are still looking into it. They may still come back and approve or non-approve. However, at the end of the time period (I thought was three days), if they have not come back with anything, then it automatically becomes a conditional approval. The dealer should recheck your status. Of course all this may vary based on state law and the dealer may choose not to treat conditional non-approvals as straight non-approvals.

Just seems strange on these conditional approvals. Salesman said they hit in waves. One day on some purchase no problema next week a conditional? In reading the concealed carry Florida forum hell guys are getting all kinds of conditionals.
They also mentioned it is not police officers doing the background checks, hell it could be some part time worker they hired off the damn street who does not know how to type. Whoops wrong number next. |

My Texas CHL* is now a LTC**. With this document in tow, no NICS is conducted in the state of Texas.
Sweet! * Concealed Handgun License **License To Carry The change came with the passing of the Open Carry law.

A person can get a conditional for a lot of reasons. It means your name or ss # was flagged. It could be flagged for any reason from a criminal activity to a military or police clearance. The flag comes up, you get delayed. Not always delayed for a bad act. Any kind of military clearance will do it.

I wouldn't put it past, that the -0- who has less that 4 days left, left a poison pill behind just to screw with gun owners. Trump needs to void all executive orders written in last 90 days immediately on day one along with 0-shit care.
