Oh gee..Thank you Brian , thanks RTO.

She's getting a part-time job at the college as an office clerk. Now that I remember, her mother wanted to be a nurse too, and started working part-time at the college as a typist while she was a student there, one thing led to another and one degree to another and she's at the top of the college administration office, she retired with a state pension after 37 years and they called her back, so you never know where you wind up.

My daughter's best friend was accepted into the nursing program at the local state college. Pretty much say goodbye to your life while in it. They are very strict.

One of the requirements is that she HAS to have a job in the nursing field while going to college, but cannot miss any of her classes. Fortunately, she found one that will work with her schedule, but most places wouldn't.

My daughter was just offered a contracted position with her company as an EMT, and they will pay for her to go to school and get her paramedic license if she'll work for them for 2 years afterwards. I believe she is going to take the deal.
