Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Cool Scored a hell of a deal....

Once in a while, a good deal just falls into my lap. I wasn't prepared for it and was actually caught off guard when I got the text asking if I was interested.

Two .50 Caliber ammo cans (both plumb full of ammo)....

Ammo can #1. 2/3 to 3/4 full of loose .45 ACProunds, a couple boxes of JHP SD rounds, a package of .45 ACP 'Snap Caps' and 4 magazines for a 1911 (still haven't tried them in my 1911's). All said and done, there was 798 rounds of FMJ .45 ACP & 250 rounds of JHP.

Ammo can #2. Completely full of boxes of .22LR ammo. Combination of ball, hollow point and bird shot rounds. Almost 3,500 rounds total. 3 magazines for a .22LR pistol or rifle (haven't figures out what type of firearm they fit).

All for $250.

I had the wife run out and buy some desicant packs. She counted out the .45 ACP rounds and put them in ZipLoc baggies with a desicant pack in each one. I figure to give some of the ammo to my son since his birthday was last Monday. I'll keep the 2 ammo cans and put the ammo I'm giving him, into one of those plastic ammo cans that you get from Cabela's when you buy bulk ammo from there.

I need some 'aroma & recoil therapy'! Tomorrow would be perfect for that but, all my kids and their families and several friends will be here tomorrow. I'll be rollin' smoke on 6 racks of Baby Back Ribs, Baked Beans and feeding a small 'army' (16 people).

Prior to purchase, while discussing the deal with the wife, she was like, "That's an awful lot of money for ammo at one time".

I said, "Yeah but........I'm gonna at least have him drop by so I can see what all he is offering to me".

The wife wasn't happy about that because he's our daughter's ex boyfriend (and she had a Restraining Order on him). He dropped by one night last week and I spoke with him about it. Asked him if he could give me a few days to contemplate it and he said he would. He's always been honest with me and I actually have no problem with him.

I talked with my son and a couple friends about it and they all said, "Yea, go for it".

I told the wife I was gonna do the deal and she got pissed. Mumbled something about spending money that could be put towards other things (in the past month, 2 a/c units have died and the fridge is 'iffy', my bike is in the shop getting the carbs cleaned, we just bought a pig for the chest freezer.....). We replaced one a/c unit and the fridge is working great (for now).

Other than current monthly bills and the payment plan to the hospital for my heart issues 2 1/2 years ago, we are debt free and have no loans. 'IF' the fridge dies, I can buy one and have it paid for in 90 days or less. Typical woman.....worries about $$$ all the time. In my defense, I did look up current pricing of that much ammo (to justify the purchase), and she told me (after she counted it all out), "You got a hell of a deal!"

Shit. That didn't happen. Met up with a good friend I went to Vo-Tech and was stationed with at Ft. Knox today. Last I saw him was around 1997.....
