They are known as "marine shotguns" for use around salt water.

I can not recall ever seeing a shotgun other then .410 in SS.

Yea. When They make a Mossberg 590A1 in stainless I'll be in line for a week.
Matter of fact, how about a 50771 version complete with a stainless bayonet. I think I can do a mike drop after that statement. |

Snake Charmer used to make a little stainless steel .410 shotgun. I don't know if they are still in production, but you should be able to find a used one.

I'm sure I may be wrong by now but the receivers on most were chemically coated and the parts may be stainless.

I picked up a Rock Island Armory M-5 in Electroless Nickel last year. It's about as close to Stainless as you'll get in a pump shotgun. The gun runs slicker than snot, and I got it out the door for just $220.00. I was so impressed with it, I bought the Parkerized version as well. All steel receiver, and one of the best buys out there in the combat shotgun market.
