Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default 10MM HI-Point carbine: Any experience with these?

Love my AR and AK, but thinking about of these for deer season, too.

Plenty of reviews of High Points on the web. While they aint great on looks they tend to work Seen a torture test on pistols that took a lot of abuse & still work.

I know someone with a .45 ACP carbine and someone else with a 9mm. They were a little rough when new, but after they got smoothed out, the guys like them. There used to be some modification instructions online to convert them too popular magazines. I think 1911 mags for the .45 and Beretta 92 mags for the 9mm.

I didn't know they were making them in 10mm, now.

I bought the 45acp carbine two weeks after it's release from a dealer in Cincinnati. I did the modification to a 15rd 1911 magazine. She had no problem firing my 200gr Lee SWC rounds, or my Lee 230gr RN cast boolits.

I've used a .44 lever short rifle for deer so I'm sure a .40 in a carbine length barrel will get it done. But lately I've been using an AR for everything that it's legal for. I like pushing the 'AR IS A SPORTING RIFLE' thing.

I was on hand when my son shot a doe deer with a Browning 92 .44 mag at about 50 yards. Lung hit. Hornady 240 gr JHP. We had to track that deer 400 yards in thick cedars to find it. The bullet did not open up.
