Albanian SKSs update
Anyone that didn't get one on the first go around, SOG is advertising them as available now. They aren't cheap though, the advertised price is $339.95.
They are also advertising the Yugo M59 at $295. and the Yugo 59/66 at $349.95. I'm not suggesting that these are great prices but they may be the last ones available through dealers.

It was a mess when I got it.Inside the action it was like it had sat under a leaking engine for years.Thick oil in there and gravel and dirt.It took a while but cleaned up nicely and had no problems functioning. |

Nice!
I've seen some that had more graffitti than your typical railroad car, some very artistic and well done, and some that looked like a drunk monkey carved it! |

When I bought my Yugos, you could almost buy 'em by the crate.

Looks like the two on the right. The extended hand guards are unique to Albanian SKSs

me neither! I don't recall reading about that either....thanks for the lesson!
I sold the blonde one...she was unmatching and had a single hole butt plate...and the stock was only single drilled as well. the crown was beat all to hell the dark one is all matching with an inch shorter bayonet..both mirror bore / bolt face. the crown has been "lightly smithed".. pics anyone for dissection? looks like someone went into the crown by about a 16th of an inch.... I wonder if this is best? |
