New niqqer gun
I bought a KelTec P11 to replace my PF-9 as my carry pistol.
It came used with a ten rd mag,but it can take 12rd keltec mags or a S&W model59 15rd mags.My stepdaughter stole my Blackhawk 45lc and traded it to her niqqer drug dealer for a gram of H.I put the Kops on him and now hes out after posting bond.

The Kel-Tecs are decent lightweight carry guns, good score!

I think you'll like it. I had one years ago... over 15 years ago, now that I do the math. It was my first DAO semi-auto, and I really wasn't used to the trigger. I'm sure you've noticed by now that the trigger is long as a train, and almost as hard to pull. That being said, you can carry it with one in the chamber without having to worry about shooting your pecker off.
I wound up with it in a trade (long story) when I was 15 or 16. My hands were still pretty small, and I was not used to the trigger. I wound up trading or selling it, after failing to be able to regularly hit a standard-sized door with it at 20 feet. I've fired a few more P-11's since then, and they're more than accurate enough for the job. Small in size, light-weight, more than enough capacity for CHL/CCW, and a cartridge that is up to snuff. What's not to like ?? EDIT: Sorry about the story with your daughter That's terrible

Yea Moon,My stepdaughter is a headache.I like the long trigger pull.Gives you time to think. After buying the pistol,I used google a few hours to learn about it. 44044,I'm hopeing to move out of bucktown(cincinnati) in the spring. I was in KY yesterday to secure the P11.What I notice about blacks in Ky is that they know there place and don't act like animals all the time. |

on the P-11, I liked the first so well I bought a second one.
Not a hunter, not a target shooter, plinker if you're not too fussy ... maybe. What it is is a close range, safe, light weight self defense handgun. And I think it's an excellent fit to it's intended function. That DA trigger pull is no worse than you'll find on any decent DA revolver, and mastering DA on a revolver OR a keltec does take longer than adapting to a SA trigger. Once you learn the trigger and grip, it's surprisingly accurate out to 20-25 yards, way more than necessary for it's design function. Trigger sucks, too curvy and too fa forward in the guard ... until you realize that those same 'flaws' combined with the long DA trigger pull help prevent most anything causing a ND while re-holstering, unlike the nested trigger in a trigger on the blocks ... errr ... Glocks. Oh yeah, both the lack of a magazine disconnect, and the presence of true double strike capability combined with the DA always hammer fired rather than striker fired were 3 BIG reasons affecting my purchase. Both mine have 250 rounds to date. FMJ, JHP and Critical defense, never so much as a hiccup, and way more concealable and lighter weight than my 1911's. To my mind, it's the standard CC SD pistol out there, the one the others have to measure up to. (With a J frame S&W running arguably second). Yep! I do like the P-11! BTW, Davidsons alone sold at least 200 P-11's between the election and Black Friday. As always JMHO, YMMV! Regards, ... |
