Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

So how much liquid nitrogen would it take to maintain the cooling of a train system to be feasible? Quite a bit I would think.

I don't think that will ever work for a train. But I'm sure it will in the future be useful for other purposes.

That was fascinating. Now DO something with it.

Noticed in the credits that all the names were Jewish.
Never see anything like that from sand nigr land.

Helium compressed will cool and I believe to points colder than liquid nitrogen. Designing something small enough for a transport device and still leave room for the cargo or occupants is the challenge.

I've been saying for years that the future of transportation will be magnetic.

If I could just figure out my magnetic motor, and how to generate enough horsepower in a lightweight package, my heirs will be rich....

I'm back.
But I saved that window into some science anomalies that effect the eyes and the mind.
Fascinating, and now . . . . .

Right now superconductors must be super cooled in order to behave that way, perhaps in the future they may not need such a low temperature.

...but what happens when the wheels fall off?

Kidding of course. That was absolutely fascinating.

Nitrogen is very abundant and can be produced. Helium is not. If consumption continues at current rates helium could be depleted by the next century. It shouldn't concern me I guess.

While helium is needed in industry, nuclear reactors, and for medical uses it is wasted for silly uses such as party balloons and in parade floats. When the helium escapes the balloon it floats away in the atmosphere and can never be recovered. There is a minuscule amount of helium in our atmosphere but it is very expensive to recover.

Once the current helium on our planet floats away into space there will be no more except for trace amounts in the atmosphere.

Actually He leaves the atmosphere. But there is still plenty of it on earth. It's a natural occurring element. And yes, its boiling point is about 100º lower than Nitrogen.

There isn't that much helium left considering current rate of consumption - about 100 years left unless it's usage is restricted. It occurs in nature but it takes hundred of thousand years to form.

There's lots of helium in space. The future of space transportation....plus, they can send vehicles up to harvest helium and bring it back.

Through spectro analysis helium was first identified on the sun.
That how we figured out what to look for on our planet.

Read that somewhere back in the 50s.
