What's a good knife? - Page 2

I'm in the market for an all-around knife, one to carry for those everyday jobs but still tough enough for use in the sticks. I'd prefer a folding style, but a fixed blade would be considered if it wasn't too big. (I've had Swiss Army stuff, and am ready for a change.)

Ones that I've had recommended:
Dawson - awesome craftsmanship, but at $300 and up is out of my price range.

Benchmade - the one I looked at was very nice quality and fits my hand

Gerber - the original Gator is supposed to be great buy and it fits my hand
well.

Shrade - the original Old Timer is bulletproof I'm told - if you can find one.

What do you'al carry?
