Anybody seen these dogs? "Dogo Argentino"?
I was just reading about these dogs in Ferfal's Survival Book about life in Argentina during and after their economic collapse.
These seem to be family-friendly dogs that are loyal, literally, to the death. When they attack, they do not give up until dead or their prey is dead-- this due mainly to their inability to feel pain. They were originally bred to hunt boar and cougar in Argentina. Apparently more than one bad guy in Argentina has met his maker by invading homes where these dogs lived.
