My boat project

[Pogo]

I'm gonna fix up my old boat. It ain't gonna be anything fancy. I just want a good solid fishing boat. The motor probably has only about 100 or so hours on it. So it should be good after I take it in and have it checked out. Probably will take a carburetor rebuild and perhaps a new fuel pump from sitting so long.

Gonna rip out everything rotten and replace it with only things that are necessary to make it a good fishing boat.

There is no dents or even scratches on the outside paint (not that I would really care about how fancy it looks). But the hull is in fine condition.

Gonna get some more life out of an old friend.

Here it is where it's been sitting for quite a few years.




The tires really sunk into the ground. Those are holding air still, but probably dry rotted.





I moved it over by my shop. Looks like I need to replace the transom board. It's kind of weathered looking.




I don't need no stinkin weeds.










I don't think that toilet paper will be any good anymore.




Gonna need a new sonar fish finder.





I should be able to salvage the live well. Might need a new water pump for it.
