Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Censored Fuck!

I bought a Parkflyer f4u corsair with 4 channel radio and brushless motor today. On my first flight I augured in and trashed the airplane. $300 gone all to shit in less than 10 seconds. I could not loose that much money so fast even in Vegas!

I understand the foam is easy to fix and I can buy a new fuselage but it is a very expensive mistake.

I need some RC training.

Flying an RC plane (or helicopter, in my case) is all about muscle memory. You cannot fly a plane effectively if you need to go through the thinking process of ...

"Well, it is coming at me, so to turn left, I need to push the stick right..."

The plane will crash before you can think through the instruction.

Get the program FLIGHT SIMULATOR from a hobby shop, along with the USB trainer controller, and fly (and crash) your plane a few thousand times on your computer FIRST, before you put a real plane into the air. The controller is accurate. The computer plane will react EXACTLY as it will when you are flying a real model plane. Once you can successfully fly a plane on the simulator, and react quickly and CORRECTLY to avoid a crash, then you can go fly the $300.00 job.

Merry Christmas!

Had an acquaintance that did that.
Built a beautifull balsa paper covered model.
Then crossed the wiring on the elevator.

Yes! Get RealFlight Flight Simulator software and the USB radio controller. Learn to fly the SIMULATOR without crashing BEFORE you take your plane out of the box!

I have an AxeCP HeliMax Helicopter. I crashed it so often that I now have a parts warehouse for my copter in my garage. I was LUCKY to find another identical copter at a thrift store, along with the Real Flight 3.5 software AND the USB radio controller for ... (drum roll please ...) TEN DOLLARS!

I am still crashing the simulator but I can't tell you how sweet it is to simply hit the big red RESET button to try again, without having to lay out a single dollar in repairs!

Check eBay, Craigs List and other sources for the Real Flight software and USB controller. I doubt you'll find it for ten bucks, but even at $100.00, it is a LOT less than crashing your airplane.

The real Corsair was tricky to fly. Sorry about it. LIke I said before, flying the real thing is easier.

"Flight com I can't hold it, she's breaking up, she's breaking up!"

Sorry, had a 6 million dollar man flashback......

My first remote control plane, and last, also augured in within seconds of lift off. Pavement isn't very soft.

Look for an AMA club in you're area. A "buddy cord" and an instructor saves lots of$$$$

+1 My dad & brother were into R/C. Took the old man out to this Bomber Field U.S.A. in Monnaville, Texas.

My brother went to Ultra Lite then the real deal. Been building another one in his garage for a while.

I had a parkflier P-51. Its like it was built to break on landings. The parkflier propeller is extremely brittle and breaks by looking at it. A good landing is still a 50/50 chance that the prop will decide to break. Moving the CG back a little turns the plane into a nightmare, and having it on it's full forward position made it just tolerable as a flier.

Then the foam they are made out of is difficult to impossible to repair without adding a ton of weight by fiberglassing.

I can pretty much fly anything R/C, I'm a great pilot from years of learning the hard way... I used to fly Pattern ships and crazy acrobatic planes inverted all day... but I hate the parkfliers. They just don't seem to fly well at all.

My chief pilot used to say "aviation is a self cleaning oven' guess that holds true for RC too. Best of luck next time.

You should of started off with a tri-cycle geared plane with no aileron control as a trainer.Starting off with a tail dragger and full control surfaces is a big no-no for a beginner.
