Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Kayaking is a good cardiovascular exercise. It is like bicycling. It doesn't jar and jam the bones like running does. I used to like to run, but, since I've gotten older (and heavier), it is just too hard on my bones. Canoeing is good exercise too, but usually people just cruise along in their canoe and don't get much exercise.

I highly recommend kayaking to anyone that wants to get some exercise and have it to be fun instead of work.

Well this weekend I did about 36 miles on my bike. Next week I plan on going kayaking with my uncle around the Naples area, man I love the backwaters of Florida.
Ordered a bike trainer for my bike so I can get my exercise in every day rain or not.
Being the new guy down in Florida, the heat doesnt seam to be bothering me.
Man, Im with Buzgun, need to find a girlfriend down here.

POGO: Great pics. I have not been out in two weeks. There is a 50 mile trip down the French Broad river on Thursday I may take but I am a bit apprehensive about the distance. It is all down stream though.

GARANDNUT,

That's a pretty long trip. I think the longest I've been on is about 35 miles, and that was downstream as well. That was on the AuSable river, which is very winding and takes a lot of maneuvering to get through. I suppose 50 miles wouldn't be bad on a fast flowing easy to maneuver stream though.

You better carry lots of water and some energy food. And, some TP just in case.

If you are really gung ho, you can sign up for the AuSable river race. Only 240 miles of continuous paddeling.
