Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default Homemade Firearm Cleaners & Lubricants

I posted the link in another thread, but I figure it deserves a standalone post, as it is so useful.

Here by popular request is some information on alternative products and information on making up your own cleaning, lubricating, and related items for shooting and reloading. These products work as well as or frequently better than the commercial products, and the 'product of the month and cost less." (Every penny you save means more components or ammo you can buy!) In addition, many of the brand name proprietary cleaners and lubes are repackaged commercially available compounds and with a little research one can sometimes figure out what they are.

I've been using Fr. Frogs copper remover for several years.

10% janitorial ammonia with a few drops of liquid soap and the copper build up in any barrel will run out screaming looking for a place to hide.

Works great and cheaper than Sweet's 7.62.

Best part, a 1qt bottle of 10% ammonia lasts years.
Somebody go back and get a shit load of dimes.
