Strawberries will be ready soon
Need to get me a container of ice cream and some of those little shortcake cups and get ready for them to ripen.

Snails and slugs get into strawberries here and just eat part of them which ruins the whole berry. Beer traps work somewhat.
We put some of ours into hanging baskets and there are more berries but the birds get into them too.

I don't have a snail or slug problem. But I have to put nets over them to keep the robins away.

Growing up part time in Plant City "Strawberry capitol" Florida I ate to many of the damn things. That and grapefruit. They look good Pogo. But I could not eat them if I was starving on a raft.

I'm having a real problem with my strawberries. They come in real nice - ripen and are a juicy, sweet red berry.
The problem I'm having with them, is getting them from the garden to the house. They don't seem to make it all the way before they disappear.
