Welcome to the site where the owners and members have had it with playing "nice" and being "inclusive" and "tolerant" of points of view that are destroying the fabric of what made this country great. The members here are sick and tired of politicians of all parties lying, deceiving, stealing, and pretending they are doing it all for the good of the country while selling out to special interests who have the set goal of destroying this country. We have had enough of career politicians who use their office only for personal gain, and who refuse to listen to the people who put them in office. The membership is no longer part of the silent majority who play nice and get along while getting screwed by anyone with a loud voice and an agenda. We will no longer allow anyone to piss down our back and tell us it's raining. And we like guns too.

Default A Final Wish

I have walked the fields of battles, seen the many tumbled stones,

I have wandered throughout the wilderness, lost and all alone.

Strode across so many beaches at the turning of the tide,

Watched as my friends and comrades went on their final ride.

Seen our naked cities revealed in dawns hard light,

Stumbled through the alleys in the darkness of the night.

I have seen the best and worst of things as my years came to pass,

Have even watched a lion cub as he played among the grass.

Now I sit and ponder all the things I've seen,

Men in hobo jungles and the crowning of a Queen.

Colts at play among the flowers and salmon in their streams,

Many times I've wandered with them if only in my dreams.

Will all this even matter when I kneel before the throne,

Will I be stripped and naked cowering there alone.

Will others stand around me and raise me to my feet,

Will they speak out for me on the judgement that I seek..

Lord, my hands are dark and bloody as I stand before your throne,

Grant me please this final wish and take this sinner home.

Dave

Thought I would put this in this forum --- if it is inappropiate to place my poems in here please delete

It's appropriate.

What said. I can write fiction, can write non-fiction, but pottery, I don't hold a candle.
