Getting ready for winter
I've been mulching leaves. And I moved my walk behind mower into my barn and moved my snow blower from my barn to my garage.

I have a snow thrower but I will try and see what my 8 horsepower leaf blower will do.
I think if its wet snow it will have trouble but if it is the light fluffy snow it should move it real fast. |

I cleaned my chimney after I got home from work, today. Don't want to have to do it with snow on the roof.

Got the snowplow mounted on the truck. Now hoping for snow. Been an "Indian Summer" here so far.

Getting ready for winter here means I might wear long pants a few times over shorts!

I mostly just drive over the driveway snow...I have a 200'+ long driveway.
My next door neighbor has a big snowblower that would be at home in the front range of the Rocky Mts. He does my driveway because he just likes to play with his snowblower. He asked me if he could... and I said "OK." He does several drives on our side of the street. It is a nice rig. It's one you ride on. Has a plastic windshield and lots of lights. We get a big deep snow and he is going to have a good day over it. The man has every possible piece of yard and grounds maintenance equipment I can think of. All...top shelf stuff. Far be it from me to get in the way of a good man who wants to play with his machines.

I bought me a new Odyssey battery and Bosch starter for the Jeep.
Wife's 4runner and son's FJ have studded snow tires on them.

Getting ready for winter here starts when the snow is gone at the end of May.
